Oops
A simple cockroach,
Creature of the wold
Concealing himself behind unfortunate teachers’ classrooms.
Peeking out from a crack in the ceiling occasionally.
He is two times the size of most of his sickening species.
I wonder what he ate to increase his grotesque figure.
Maybe he fell into the poison that is the school lunch.
Why, oh cockroach, did you stop me with your bizarre looks
And make me 20 minutes late to meet my daddy at the curb?
How could I forget he has a meeting every Thursday?
Why am I so completely and utterly brainless?
I don’t know.
So now as I’m sitting in this car
And my mouth tastes like foot,
I miss my cockroach.
I’m sure he would understand.
